Money you can't live with it, & you can't live with out it!

Money is always such a huge topic. People worry about it, people spend it, people fight over it, some even throw it away. Being a part of a one income family, I can say freely we are not rich in cash. But I know I have so many more blessings than some who are considered rich. There are so many times that I have wished our world was not wrapped around the green monster. Yes I say Monster since that is really what it makes humans become. I wanted to see what God really wanted us to do with this crazy stuff that drives us all nuts but that we all need in our life. Besides the stuff that people talk about often - giving tithes & such. So after lots of prayer I did some digging & research, I realized that he says a lot in the Bible about it. Well instead of quoting you all these verses that I found I figured I would just pick out a few and you could open your book & search out more.

Hebrew 13:5 Keep your life free from the love of money & be content with what you have.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich rules over the poor, & the borrower becomes the lender's slave.  
Proverbs 22:26-27 Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.
Ecclesiastes 5:5 It is better that you should not vow than that you vow & then shall not pay.
Romans Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another, for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Proverbs 23:4 Do not weary yourself to gain wealth cease from your consideration of it.
Proverbs 28:19-20 He who tills his land will have plenty of food, but he who follows empty pursuits will have poverty in plenty. A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who makes haste to be rich will not go unpunished.

So how many times have you wished that you & your debtors or you & your spouse didn't have to have the money talks. It is never fun & sometimes it feels like hell but when you stop what you are doing & look around you, you may be more content than you knew. Stop counting down the days until payday & start counting your blessings!
