My Rugrats!
So the next few posts will be about my little angels! (most of the time) I want to give you an overview on them in this post. I have a 12yr old daughter named Kaitlyn who I homeschool (& love it) She is going into the 7th grade. My son is 10yrs old. I like to call him YJ. He goes to public school & is starting the full time gifted fifth grade class in Aug. Brooklyn is my youngest daughter. She is 8 yrs. old. She is my tuffy. She also goes to public school. She will be going into 3rd grade. I also homeschool over the summer very casually. Before I get hate mail, They have lots of play time & "field trips" My kids really like doing school with me & I enjoy doing it. I understand that it is "summerbreak" & kids need to have fun. They learn extra things that classrooms with 25 kids don't have time to get to. Including the fun stuff- cooking, arts, music & such. We are also in the process of adopting another child. There will be more post on that in the future. My husband & I have made our children a priority from the beginning. I guess you can say parenthood suited us. We have always wanted kids & always had a love for kids. Even at a young age, getting started we just wanted to do the right things with our children. When we made the decision for me to stay home with them, we both wondered how we would pay the bills. When people would ask us how we were doing it we told them the truth, "we don't do it, God does" Just like raising our kids, being 2 yrs apart almost to the week. It isn't always easy but we are committed. When I had my 3rd child, I would be nursing her while chasing my 2yr old son, & making sure my 4 yr old didn't feel left out. (Kaitlyn has always been my big helper) Since they are getting older now, I look back on some of the blurry days that I would be exhausted. Now even though some of the trials & error stuff that we went though as a family is gone, we have new stages of our life & with our kids to go through. A house with kids is never boring! I love being a mom!
